OUR MISSION is to provide a solid, resilient catastrophe platform that will stand the test of time. We do that by carefully selecting risks and promoting wind and flood mitigation, insurance-to-value, and smart retention options.
Crucial to our success is our longstanding partnership with Lloyd's of London, and also our customer service philosophy. It’s a concept that extends to policyholders, our valued agency partners, and to our internal customers: our team. Our team thrives in dynamic, entrepreneurial environment and defines success as a collaborative process.
In the end, we are proud of providing best-in-class service to a few select agents and trading partners.
Founder and President,
After a combined 28 years of experience in the insurance industry, Karen founded Insurance Partners Consortium (IPC)
in April 2015 with the goal of designing customized insurance programs and delivering unparalleled service to independent agents in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida,
and Alabama. Our focus is on clients whose properties are in catastrophe-prone areas.
Karen's accolades include Broker of the Year IIANC and she is a former President of the NCSLA.
When Karen's not thinking about insurance, you'll probably find her working in the garden, spending time with her family, or kicking back on the boat.
Executive Vice President, Underwriter
Ryan always had a passion for insurance. He began his career after graduating from Appalachian State University (ASU) with a double major in Insurance & Risk Management and Finance & Banking. As a co-found of Insurance Partners Consortium, he strives to provide his clients competitive, best-in-class insurance coverage that gives them the capacity to recover, should disaster strike.
He is a proud husband to his wife Megan Toler and the father of two beautiful girls, Molly and Hazeleigh Toler. Ryan is an avid surfer, gardener, and dad extraordinaire.
Born and raised in Beaufort, NC, Mark couldn't stay away from the coast for very long after graduating with honors from NC State University in 2017 with a B.S. in Finance and a minor in Accounting. Mark joined the IPC family just two days after graduation and quickly climbed the ladder from his initial intern position. In his spare time, you can find Mark out in the boat with family and friends, riding bikes in historic downtown Beaufort, helping his brother coach the Beaufort Middle School baseball team, or attending First Baptist Church in Morehead City.
